WELCOME to Child
Care Resources. We are pleased to be offering this blog to our families with
the hopes that it will serve as a positive resource and help us remain
connected to the families we serve.
Child Care
Resources offers various services which include free referrals to licensed child care centers and preschools,
registered family child care homes, summer camps, and before/after– school
programs.
We also counsel families on making informed choices for child care. In addition we administer
financial assistance to assist with child care cost for eligible working
families and students. We offer parent education classes and
workshops on nutrition and health, support groups for parents with special needs children and child development.
We have a lending library, educational workshops and trainings are offered to
all early childhood professionals. We also register and offer trainings to
family child care providers.
The blog will include a variety of topics such as important updates including news from
our county, state and national levels on events surrounding early childhood
education, and information on improving
standards for quality child care.
